Now is the ideal time to find a career in this quickly growing 电子竞技的d videogame industry, projected to reach more than $665 billion in revenue by 2030, according to Fortune Business Insights. 与3.09 billion people playing video 游戏 around the world, kids and young adults are not the only players. Nearly half of gamers are women. As these numbers grow, the need for more employees will grow as well. And these are versatile jobs. This program was co-created with Unity Technologies with input from the International Game Developers Association (IGDA) to prepare you with a blend of knowledge in tech, 业务, 游戏, and gaming culture that will be attractive to employers. Adding to all of that, EC has a strong 电子竞技运动项目 with a state-of-the-art gaming lounge, where you can get practical, first-hand experiences.
This program will teach you about how 游戏 are made, 如何管理电子竞技团队, and how to plan the end-to-end of Esports events from logistics to marketing. You’ll learn through projects developed with companies like Capcom and Riot as you explore the history of 游戏, 如何发展情节, 以及如何创建图形. You’ll also have projects that let you design a virtual intercollegiate sports competition.
